Tribute to Rameau at the Ancient Music Days of Bratislava

For the 250th anniversary of the death of Philippe Rameau, the 2014 edition of the Ancient Music Days of Bratislava will pay a tribute to this major French Baroque music composer.
The Ancient Music Days, organized by the Ancient Music Center of Bratislava, is one of the major events of the Slovakian capital, known the world over.
For its 15th edition, from June, 1 to June 9, 2014, the programming included renowned (Slovakian and international) artists as well as experts in the realm of ancient music. The Festival included a large number of French artists, amongst others the Clément Janequin ensemble, which will interpret the works of French and Spanish Renaissance composers, Matteo Flecha, Juan Vásquez, Claudin de Sermizy and Clément Janequin.
Seminars, workshops and lectures were also organized for the occasion.
