Architecture
The French Institute plays an essential role in promoting architecture professionals and supporting the French cultural network abroad in this field.
Architecture, urban planning and landscape are no longer simply a matter of formal creation; today, they reflect the major social, ecological and cultural changes at work in our territories. Anchored in sustainability, spatial justice and inclusivity, these disciplines bring together different uses in rural and urban spaces, and are at the crossroads of heritage, environmental protection and scientific research, to think about a living environment in transition. The French cultural network abroad is seizing on these subjects of reflection with increasing intensity, accompanying interdisciplinary, educational and experimental projects on different continents, wherever there is a desire to reflect with French professionals, where a fruitful dialogue is being forged with local players around major contemporary urban challenges.
