About Games Made in France
For the past eight years, Games Made in France has presented independent creations from French studios to the public. Usually at the heart of Paris Games Week, a major gaming event in Europe, Games Made in France went digital in 2020 with a program of live broadcasts on Twitch that attracted nearly one million viewers. The event is coordinated by Capital Games and co-produced with Atlangames, Game IN and Push Start, with the support of the CNC, the DGE and the Île-de-France Region.
Games Made in France is produced by Capital Games, the Ile-de-France video game cluster, in co-production with the regional video games associationsAtlangames, Game IN, Push Start, East Games, Game Only, Bouftang and SO Games to present almost 40 French video games online and host discussions with their creators.
The French Institute is launching IFdigital, the new website dedicated to French digital creation (digital art, immersive experience, video games, innovative books, cultural education and web creation) on 24 November.
IFdigital, which will take over from culturegamer.fr, will present the creations and professionals of the independent video game industry (creators, studios, publishers, distributors, schools, clusters, etc) in order to encourage the international distribution of these particularly dynamic and innovative cultural and creative industries.
