MyFrenchFilmFestival: the online festival returns on 14 January

MyFrenchFilmFestival, held from 14 January to 14 February 2022, is back for its 12th edition. Take part in this online festival by watching the 30 selected films and voting for your favourite works.

Organised by UniFrance, MyFrenchFilmFestival returns in 2022 to offer the best of young French-speaking cinema. 30 films to discover at home, until 14 February 2022: comedies, romances, dramas, documentaries, animations, classics... (features and shorts) And for the youngest festival-goers, a programme of short animated films without words made by students from the best animation schools is also available. These films are available worldwide, in French and subtitled in 10 different languages.

The 2022 selection is based on 7 themes: French and over-the-top, Intrepid Youth, Disrupted Identities, Cinema of desire, Stories of the night, In time, Kids' Corner.

The Institut français and the festival

As every year, the Institut français is a partner of MyFrenchFilmFestival, and offers on its platform IFcinéma a large number of this year's feature films and shorts for public screenings around the world during the festival and afterwards: These include À l'abordage, Sous le ciel d'Alice, Teddy et Les Indes galantes, Haut les cœurs, À l'ancienne and Lune.
