The Institut français offers the French cultural network abroad its Residency Factory. This is a programme that aims to support this network at a technical and financial level in the development and construction of an artist residency at its facilities or with a local partner.
The Residency Division will recommend a certain number of measures for the establishment of the residency (Identifying the type of residency, putting together the call for applications, choosing the right contract, drawing up a residency charter, defining the support, etc.). This support may take place over a period of 1 to 3 years in order to solidify the residency.
This programme is aimed at Institut françaises, Alliances Françaises and the Cultural Service of the French Embassies.
