Impuls neue Musik has been encouraging and supporting creation and distribution of new contemporary music works in France, Germany and Switzerland for the past 11 years. It promotes real dialogue between artists, works and aesthetics specific to these three countries. The fund has thus already attributed more than 1 million euros which has allow the 173 projects to be created.

The 14th Artistic Committee of the Fonds franco-germano-suisse pour la musique contemporaine / Impuls neue Musik (French-German-Swiss fund for contemporary music) took place on 27 June 2020.

Impuls neue Musik has been supported by the Institut français (Paris) since 1 January 2020. The Institut français is a public institution responsible for French cultural actions abroad. Under the joint supervision of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, it actively contributes to France’s diplomatic influence.
