As part of the 2025 edition of the Cultural and Creative Industries Program (PICC), the Institut français is highlighting ten emblematic projects, carried out by the French cultural network abroad, which showcase the diversity of projects supported by this program, their partnership dimension and the effects expected in the medium term.

Given their economic weight in exports and their political dimension, the cultural and creative industries constitute a central element of the diplomacy of influence carried by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. The strategy consists on the one hand of supporting the export of French cultural and creative industries in prescriptive and emerging countries, and on the other hand of favoring the structuring of ICC ecosystems in countries with less mature ecosystems. To support this approach, the Institut français has been mandated, from 2022, to implement a call for projects aimed at supporting France's foreign cultural network in the operational translation of this priority.

The objectives pursued by this program are to contribute to the export of French ICC industries - seeking an economic impact -, to foster the building of partnerships and lasting exchanges between French and international ICC professionals, to implement structuring actions in the field (training, immersion, professionalization, networking, etc.) for the ICC sectors, and to foster the development of the French ICC industry.) for the CCI sectors and to increase the visibility of French CCIs internationally to encourage their integration into foreign markets.
