The exhibition Attila cataracte ta source aux pieds des pitons verts finira dans la grande mer gouffre bleu nous nous nous noyâmes dans les larmes marées de la lune was opened on 17 April in the presence of the artist Julien Creuzet, the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, the Italian Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, and the President of the Biennale di Venezia, Pietrangelo Buttafuoco.

The exhibition was a great success with the many journalists and professionals present in Venice. It was widely reported in the French and international press.

"From one island to another, from Martinique to Venice, the choice is to decenter. Julien Creuzet brings us to open our eyes to other shores, to look at the complexity of our history and our geography," said Eva Nguyen Binh, President of the Institut français, in her inaugural speech.  By inviting figures from multiple imaginary worlds into the heart of his project, the artist is inviting visitors to open up to other territories : the Atlantic, the Caribbean and Martinique.

The Institut français took advantage of the Professional Days to organise the Café français, a breakfast meeting to promote the French presence in Venice. The first edition of the Café français brought together actors from the French artistic and cultural scene, giving them the opportunity to meet up with international professionals and enjoy a convivial moment. Lithuanian and Brazilian cultural players were also invited, while the Lithuanian Season in France 2024 and the France-Brazil Season 2025 are in preparation.
