All over the world, from South Africa to Brazil, from the United States to Taiwan, from Germany to India, from Tunisia to Denmark, artists, entrepreneurs, intellectuals, creators, gamers and makers question the digital revolution in all its forms, uses and challenges.

This year, Novembre Numerique takes place in more than 85 countries, with in situ and on-line programs which explore the new forms of creation - virtual and augmented reality, video games, web creation, digital art, etc. - and take a forward-looking glance at social issues like environment, heritage, gender equality, etc.

Through workshops, debates, shows, exhibitions, hackathons, escape games, and more, French and foreign professionals, amateurs and general audiences decode the digital revolution.

For the first time, Novembre Numérique in Paris!

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Novembre Numérique, the Institut français proposes for the first time an event France, in partnership with of several cultural institutions: the Centre Pompidou, the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF), the Centre des monuments nationaux (CMN), the Forum des Images and the Alliance Française de Paris.

From November 24th to 29th, 2021, workshops, performances, round tables, an exhibition, presentations of artworks and professional meetings will highlight the richness of French digital creation.

This Parisian edition will be an opportunity for the Institut français to present its new exhibition Escape, the digital revolution explored by creators which invites to discover digital cultures, through some thirty digital artworks (video games, web documentaries and fictional works, virtual reality contents, etc.)

This highlight will also be marked by the release of IFdigital, the French digital creation website: entirely bilingual (French / English), IFdigital aims to encourage the dissemination of creations and support the export of the French expertise in this sector.
