After its award at the Venice International Film Festival, Blanca Li's Le Bal de Paris is coming to Chaillot!

With Le Bal de Paris, Blanca Li offers a spectacular experience that combines dance and virtual reality.
Le Bal de Paris is a fully immersive performance in which the audience, in groups of ten equipped with VR headsets, is invited to observe, participate and interact with real dancers in a fantastic and poetic universe. For 90 minutes, the audience is drawn into a great love story where the dancers become the main characters in the story. A unique experience!
Le Bal de Paris will be presented for the first time in France, at Chaillot, Théâtre National de la Danse, from 7 to 16 October 2021.
Le Bal de Paris by Blanca Li is presented as part of the VR Immersive Experiences catalogue from the Institut français. The “VR Immersive Experiences” catalogue presents some forty original works at the intersection of virtual reality, live entertainment and visual arts. Available in English, it is designed to introduce partners of the cultural network (theatres, museums, cultural centres, art centres, festivals, shopping centres, etc.) to new kinds of shows and exhibitions – many of them collective and participatory – which meet a growing public demand for forms of entertainment and cultural offerings with a strong digital dimension.
