This programme is aimed at artists and cultural professionals who have been living abroad for at least 5 years and wish to develop a research and creation project in Paris during a three, six, or nine-month residency, between April 2025 and April 2026. 

Each year, the Institut français enables more than 70 artists and cultural professionals from around the world to develop a research and creation project in all artistic disciplines at the Cité internationale des arts, located in the heart of Paris. 

French cultural network posts abroad and associated partners are invited to submit applications on the IFProg platform until October 25, 2024, at 11:59 PM (CET). 

The committee will pay special attention to inclusivity, geographical and disciplinary diversity, and gender parity among the selected applications. Projects with an eco-responsible scope and/or addressing gender equality issues are strongly encouraged. Priority will also be given to projects involving at least one artistic or cultural structure in the Île-de-France region, allowing for coordinated and close support for the artists.
