Galaxy Network : A worldwide simultaneous exhibition of Virtual Reality in 6 countries and 8 cities!

 

 

 

Offering the first event of its kind on a global scale, the Galaxy Network is the first international network for the distribution of virtual reality (VR) experiences, which brings together actors from various fields (companies, universities, exhibition places, cultural institutions, event organizers...).

Galaxy Network presents this autumn the first exhibition of virtual reality works, to discover simultaneously in 8 cities of 6 different countries : Italy, Turkey, Spain, France, Germany and Russia. 

The selection of 12 works, including 4 French productions or co-productions, gives an insight of the wealth and diversity of virtual reality works: documentary, fiction, interactive experiences, 360° films, live action and animated works. 

In France, the programme is to discover at the Cube in Issy les Moulineaux, from 28 october to 13 November, with Diversion cinema !

What virtual reality experiences will be presented?

In order to show the different aspects of this new form of art, a wide range of experiences will be presented in the exhibition. Documentary as well as fiction, interactive experiences and 360° films, live action as well as animated works. Some of the pieces will be done while standing, others while sitting.

About Galaxy Network

The Galaxy Network is a group of actors from various fields (companies, universities, exhibition places, cultural institutions, event organizers...) who wish to present immersive experiences to their public.

The objective of the Galaxy Network is to create and coordinate several exhibitions of virtual reality experiences that will be presented simultaneously in the different places of the network. 

The Institut français and the event

The first exhibition of reality works to discover simultaneously in 8 cities of 6 different countries is presented by Galaxy Network, with the support of several Instituts français around the world. 

 

The Institut français launches, on Wednesday 24th November 2021, IFdigital, a bilingual website dedicated to French digital creation. This website aims to support the international dissemination of these dynamic and innovative sectors of the cultural and creative industries.
