Games Made in France, French video games online!

French video games will be in the spotlight from 21 to 24 October on Twitch with the Games Made in France event, initiated by Capital Games, the Ile-de-France video game cluster.

During Games Made in France, nearly 40 French video games will be presented over 4 days, with many live streams on Twitch hosted by famous video game streamers: Mistermv, Trinity, DamDamLive and At0miu.

A partnership with the Steam platform will also allow you to get the latest French gems at a lower price. 

Among the games expected are:

·     Shady Part of Me Douzean enigmatic tale from the studio Douze Dixième that won Best First Game at the 2021 Pegasus awards;

·     Inuathe latest Point and Click game from Arte France in collaboration with IKO and The Pixel Hunt;

·     Wartales, an epic adventure game from Shiro Games;

·     Deathloopthe latest worldwide success from Lyon-based studio Arkane.

About Games Made in France

For the past eight years, Games Made in France has presented independent creations from French studios to the public. Usually at the heart of Paris Games Week, a major gaming event in Europe, Games Made in France went digital in 2020 with a program of live broadcasts on Twitch that attracted nearly one million viewers. The event is coordinated by Capital Games and co-produced with Atlangames, Game IN and Push Start, with the support of the CNC, the DGE and the Île-de-France Region. 

Games Made in France is produced by Capital Games, the Ile-de-France video game cluster, in co-production with the regional video games associationsAtlangamesGame INPush StartEast GamesGame OnlyBouftang and SO Games to present almost 40 French video games online and host discussions with their creators.  

The Institut français and the event

The French Institute is launching IFdigital, the new website dedicated to French digital creation (digital art, immersive experience, video games, innovative books, cultural education and web creation) on 24 November. 

IFdigital, which will take over from culturegamer.fr, will present the creations and professionals of the independent video game industry (creators, studios, publishers, distributors, schools, clusters, etc) in order to encourage the international distribution of these particularly dynamic and innovative cultural and creative industries.
