Launch of the first journal of the French Pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia 2022 : "Algiers. Forms of desire"
Under the editorial direction of the resident artist at the French Pavilion, Zineb Sedira, and her co-curators, Yasmina Reggad and the duo Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath, three journals will be published by NERO, a Rome based publisher specialising in culture and contemporary art, starting in October 2021.

Entitled Algiers, Paris/London and Venice, the cities at the heart of the artist's work, they have been conceived in the spirit of militant magazines of the 1960s and 1970s. Featuring pieces by curators and art critics, directors, artists, emeritus professors and researchers and a range of content, analysis, background articles, film programmes, illustrations, playlists... and a poster by Zineb Sedira on the centre spread.
Together, the three issues will constitute the catalogue of the French Pavilion, available in French and English versions. Each issue is available to buy online through the NERO website or in the bookshops of the Presses du réel network.

Artist Zineb Sedira will represent France at the 59th International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia in 2022. he French Pavilion is jointly commissioned by the Institut français, the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, and the French Ministry of Culture.
