IDE—International Design Expedition—is the name of the initiative led by designer Mathilde Bretillot. For several years, the *institut français* has supported this transdisciplinary project, bringing together French and international designers and artisans around themes of craftsmanship, conceptual design, and gastronomy. Through this exhibition, visitors can discover the creations and collaborations envisioned between 2019 and 2024 in Italy, Poland, Cambodia, and most recently in Sweden.

Curator and founder of this program centered on the artisanal skills of ceramics and culinary arts, Mathilde Brétillot brought along French designers Marta Bakowski, Goliath Dyèvre, Anne Xiradakis, and Emmanuelle Roule.
For the first time, the results of these expeditions are gathered in five pavilions—each dedicated to one of the countries visited—showcasing a collection of 150 ceramic pieces.
Exhibition until March 16, 2025, at the Cité du design in Saint-Etienne.
