Lisbonne sur Seine: a walk through Paris for the France-Portugal Season 2022

The France-Portugal Season is joining forces with the City of Paris and the Paris Summer Festival to write a love letter from Paris to Lisbon and, more broadly, from France to Portugal.

An artistic tour that will begin before nightfall on Friday 23 September, with a performance by the choreographer Olga Roriz in the Carreau du Temple auditorium at 7pm. 

At the same time, the Académie du Climat will host an installation by the visual artist Bordalo II from 6pm. A projection of a digital artwork by António Jorge-Gonçalves on the history of Lisbon will be shown in a loop from 8pm at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie. 

In front of the Hôtel de Ville from 6pm, food-trucks will add a gastronomic and festive dimension to this Lisbon experience. At 8.30pm, DJ Branko will be mixing live to the original creations of artists Salomé Lamas, ADD FUEL and Augusto Bràzio projected on the façade of the Hôtel de Ville. 

Finally, the Omiri Ball, combining video, musicians and soundscapes from the four corners of Portugal, will have us dancing in the salons of the Hôtel de Ville from 9.30pm.

Lisbonne sur Seine is part of the France-Portugal 2022 Season, implemented by the Institut français for the French portion.
