Specifically created in preparation for the Lithuanian Season in France, this large-scale focus was dedicated to performing arts professionals in Lithuania, and a host of key figures from France’s performing arts scene travelled for the occasion.

French professionals from the puppetry arts sector were also invited to the Materia Magica Festival, held during the same period in Klaipeda.

As a hub for shared values, creativity, networking and opportunities for future collaborations and partnerships, the Lithuanian Performing Arts Platform allowed some twenty Lithuanian companies to present their performances, spanning contemporary dance, theatre, new opera, contemporary musical theatre and interdisciplinary pieces. There was also a stage dedicated to Ukrainian dance companies.
