
Pégases 2021 Ceremony
After a remarkable list of winners during the first Pégases ceremony at the Théâtre de la Madeleine in March 2020, the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Jeu Vidéo (Video Game Arts and Techniques Academy), created to promote and showcase video game talent in France, announces that the 2nd Pégases ceremony will take place on Wednesday 17 March 2021 exclusively online.

Once again, thanks to the votes of 1500 academy members, this ceremony will confirm the best French and international teams in video game design and their video games. There is no audience this year, but an exceptional evening celebrating video game design and talent with world exclusives and artistic performances. Salomé Lagresle is back as Mistress of Ceremonies. She will be joined by personalities from video games, media and culture, who will present the 18 Pégases to the winning teams and productions.
The ceremony will be broadcast online at 8.30pm on the ES1 channel, the channels Twitch and LeStream and the Academy’s, jeuxvideo.com social media and the Academy’s Steam page. It is co-produced by the Syndicat National du Jeu Vidéo (The National Union of Video Game) and Webedia with the support of Amazon Game Tech, Société Générale, Groupe Audiens and the National Center of Cinematography and the Moving Image.

About the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Jeu Vidéo
The Académie des Arts et Techniques du Jeu Vidéo was created by the Syndicat National du Jeu Vidéo, and brings together 1500 academy members, divided across 5 panels and an honorary panel. Its purpose is to showcase video game creations and talents in France. It brings together professionals of the sector to allow them to address the profession’s major challenges, while highlighting their work. In the first quarter of every year it organises the Pégases ceremony which awards the trophies of the same name in specific categories.
