Preparations continue for the Season of Lithuania in France
The Institut français and the Lithuanian Cultural Institute are continuing to work closely together to strengthen links between professionals from our two countries in preparation for the Season of Lithuania in France (12 September-12 December 2024).

Katharina Scriba - Director of the Fiminco Foundation, Julie Chénot - Director of the Camargo Foundation, Caroline Ferreira- Head of the Art & Society Events Department, Centre Pompidou, Nina Volz - Head of International Development, AWARE: Archives of Women Artists and Exhibitions, and Thomas Delamarre, Director of the Maison des arts Georges & Claude Pompidou Centre d'art contemporain, travelled to Vilnius from 23 to 26 July to meet Lithuanian professionals working to consolidate a local network of residencies. They were also able to participate in events being held as part of the 1st Vilnius Performance Biennale (VB23).
Season of Lithuania in France
The Season of Lithuania in France will take place from 12 September to 12 December 2024. This Season will highlight the culture and history of this country from both a heritage and contemporary perspective.
Its curatorship has been entrusted to Ms. Virginija Vitkienė, General Director of "Kaunas - European Capital of Culture 2022".
