Playing on a famous advertising slogan, Rebecca Chaillon shatters the eroticized clichés and fantasies that confine the bodies of Black women. Surrounded by seven Afro-descendant performers from various artistic backgrounds—poetry, dance, circus, opera, acrobatics—she creates a community on stage that embarks on a poetic, initiatory journey through a land still colonized by its imaginaries, allowing each woman to reclaim her own story as a Black woman. 

Prophétique (on est déjà né.es): Night divas, hairdressers by day, sometimes living in secrecy but always standing in solidarity, being a transgender woman in Abidjan means living every day as if in a boxing ring. With this performance, Nadia Beugré listens to what they have to say in a society that pretends not to see them. 

With IF Export, the Institut français supports both in-person projects, hybrid projects (in-person and digital), fully digital projects (in cases where mobility is restricted or impossible), as well as projects that incorporate digital tools into the creation or production process. Projects must be developed in consultation with the French cultural network.
