Decided by Presidents Emmanuel Macron and Gitanas Nausėda, the Season of Lithuania in France will run from September 12 to December 12, 2024. The starting point for a renewal of Franco-Lithuanian cultural exchanges, the Season of Lithuania in France will present contemporary Lithuania and its culture to the French public in a wide variety of formats: performances, exhibitions, shows, screenings, debates, conferences, gastronomy... It also aims to initiate long-term cooperation between Lithuanian institutions and creators and their French partners.

For three months, you will discover contemporary Lithuania and its culture through over 200 events all over France, with a program shaped by 3 themes:

• Global Neighborhoods: a polyphonic dialogue on the differences between nations, cultures and civilizations.
• Empowered Identities: a look at gender in contemporary Europe.
• Unleashed Imagination: an invitation to imagine the twenty-second century and envision scenarios for the future.
