Since its launch, a team of researchers has been associated with the Access Culture program, focusing on the relationship between cultural mediation and the creation of social bonds, as well as the impact of projects on audiences distant from cultural offerings.

Supported by the program, the Institut des Afriques launched the podcast "Access Culture: From Call to Projects." This series of episodes aims to report on the work of the research team, particularly that of Armelle Gaulier and Margaux Lombard, in an original format that gives a voice to the African cultural operators benefiting from the initiative.

Between 2020 and 2023, from Kigali to Paris, via Conakry, Nouakchott, and Abidjan, these podcasts trace the processes of implementing cultural projects, their challenges associated with different local realities, and their tools for creating connections.
