From 4 June to 18 September, the Villa Tamaris Centre d’Art, the Association Objectif-sur-Seyne, and the Métropole Toulon Provence Méditerranée will showcase Portugal through the ceramicists, painters, filmmakers and photographers Bela Silva, Alfredo Cunha, Manoel de Oliveira, Helena Almeida, David Infante, Manuela Marques, Catarina Osório de Castro, Tito Mouraz, Zagros Mehrkian and Léna Durr. 

This exhibition Un été au Portugal will explore the diversity of these different artistic disciplines from 1930 to today. 

Also on 23 June, the Université du Temps Libre de Toulon is inviting Michel Chandeigne to the Auditorium de la Médiathèque Chalucet-Toulon for a lecture on Ferdinand Magellan, that most famous of explorers, and the fascinating adventure that was his voyage (1519-1522).
