Conceived as a moment for sharing ideas and themes presented by the artists and curators of the national pavilions, the Pavilion Days aim to strengthen the international visual arts network through a program of events and meetings. This initiative is led by the Global Commissioners Group, an open and horizontal collective in which France actively participates alongside other national pavilions such as Germany, Great Britain, Grenada, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland.
Guided tours of the exhibitions of participating countries* (Giardini, Arsenale, and the city) will be offered free of charge upon reservation during these two days. These tours provide a unique opportunity to meet with the artists, curators, and organizers of the different pavilions. The discovery tours will start each day at 11 a.m. in the Giardini and at 10 a.m. in the city (for the pavilions located at the Arsenale and outside the main Biennale sites) and will last 2.5 hours.
*Belgium, Croatia, France, Grenada, Ireland, Japan, Kosovo, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland, and Turkey.

During the Pavilion Days, the third edition of the Green Lion Workshop will also be held. Exhibition catalogue signing for "Nos mots cyclone"
In the presence of Julien Creuzet
The Institut français and Beaux-Arts de Paris éditions are pleased to invite you on Friday, September 27, to the Venice launch of the catalogue for Julien Creuzet’s exhibition at the French Pavilion, followed by a discussion between the artist, Pascale Le Thorel, director of Beaux-Arts de Paris éditions and publisher of the book, and Céline Kopp, director of the Magasin in Grenoble and co-curator of the French Pavilion 2024. The event will take place at the Rupture Arts & Books Venezia bookstore (Giudecca, Fondamenta Ponte Lungo 289, at 6 p.m.).
This exceptional book, created by the artist with the studio Alliage, features over 100 pages of previously unpublished works by Julien Creuzet for the French Pavilion at the Venice Art Biennale. Introduced by Céline Kopp and Cindy Sissokho, co-curators of the Pavilion, the catalogue explores the artist’s universe with excerpts from texts by writers, poets, and philosophers, including fiction, science fiction, critical essays, and a film script.
The catalogue was published by Beaux-Arts de Paris éditions in partnership with the Institut français, with exceptional support from the CHANEL Culture Fund.
The French Pavilion at the International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia is organised by the Institut français on behalf of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.
