A story told in three chapters invites visitors to explore the 2020 Biennale’s theme, Eternity. Chroniques Biennale exhibition curator Mathieu Vabre uses these three chapters to guide us around the 11 exhibitions and 50 works by the 40 artists expressing eternity.
This journey is also joined by a virtual 3D visit of the “Éternité partie 2 : Que voulons-nous faire pousser sur les ruines ?” exhibition (Eternity part 2: What do we want to grow on the ruins?) presented by the La Friche belle de mai in Marseille, so you can discover the works in its exhibition scenography.
The closing weekend of the Chroniques biennale also puts forward a programme of professional meetings, aimed at all culture and creative industry professionals. Certain sequences will also be broadcast live so that everyone can take part.
Finally, the closing day of the biennale on 16 January 2021 will be broadcasted online and will enable eternity to be questioned with the question of living. The artists will take the floor through a programme of performances allowing the biennale’s theme to be addressed under the prism of ecology to reconsider the link with the living.

The Institut français is organising a Digital Creations and Arts Focus, in partnership with the CHRONIQUES Digital Imagination and Arts Biennale. Throughout the biennale, thirty-four foreign professionals are invited to discover the works and meet French digital arts actors.
