The second Our Future forum was held in Yaoundé from December 1 to 3, 2022, on the theme of "S'engager! ". Coordinated by the Council for the Follow-up of the Recommendations of the New Africa-France Summit, it brought together civil society players, intellectuals, artists, public and private decision-makers, as well as personalities from all walks of life from Cameroon but also from other African and European countries. They debated the major challenges of tomorrow, with a view to building a more sustainable world together.

The National Museum of Cameroon, the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon and the French Institute of Cameroon all played host to rich exchanges on issues ranging from citizen participation and the development of the circular economy to memory and heritage.

Jacques Jonathan Nyemb - President of the Council for the follow-up of the recommendations of the New Africa-France Summit:

The theme was that of commitment, with the idea of co-constructing a more sustainable world together. Faced with the common challenges facing our African and European societies, it's vital to make more room for young people. Their commitment is essential if we are to influence the future of our countries.
