La Fabrique des résidences will support 7 new projects from 2025 onwards
Published on 6 January 2025
Since its creation in 2018 and through 6 editions, La Fabrique des résidences has helped develop 40 residency programs in 29 countries. In 2024, 7 new projects have been selected to benefit from structuring support over three years from 2025.
The la Fabrique des résidences program is aimed at all the network's posts, Instituts français, Alliances Françaises and binational centers, whatever their geography. Its aim is to support the cultural network from the design to the implementation of new permanent residency programs, or on an evolutionary phase of an existing program.
The scheme offers multi-year funding over three years to enable positions :
- To implement a set of best practices around hosting artists, creators or designers in residence;
- To structure their residency program over time and within their territory;
- To join, in the medium term, a network of residencies within the diplomatic network where experience, skills and communication actions will be shared.
