On March 12, 2024, the Cathédrale Saint-Louis des Invalides in Paris hosted a concert as a prelude to the Season of Lithuania in France 2024 and in the presence of HE Mr. Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, accompanied by Mrs. Diana Nausėdienė, and the President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by Mrs. Brigitte Macron.
As part of this partnership with the Lithuanian Embassy, the concert opened with a work by the famous Lithuanian composer and painter Čiurlionis. The audience was also treated to a pianistic duel between Lithuanian soloists Mūza Rubackytė and Simonas Poška accompanied by the Orchestre symphonique de la Garde républicaine conducted by Mr. Sébastien Billard. Composers Liszt and Thalberg were in the spotlight in a passionate and technical performance.
