Dorothée Munyaneza left Rwanda during the genocide against the Tutsi. Her play Unwanted, presented in 2017 at the Avignon Festival and then elsewhere in Europe, Africa and the United States, is based on the testimonies of women and their children born of rapes committed during the genocide.
