French video games in the spotlight at Pégases 2024
Since 2020, the Pégases ceremony has been the annual event organised by the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Jeu Vidéo to reward those who make up the video game industry.
The 5th ceremony took place on Thursday 7 March at La Cigale in Paris. The ceremony was broadcasted live on France TV's Twitch channel Slash. 19 trophies were awarded.

This edition was marked by the consecration of "Chants of Sennaar", a game from Toulouse-based studio Rundisc, combining investigation and linguistic deciphering, which won in three categories: best game, best independent game and best game design. A Pégase of Honour was awarded to Muriel Tramis, a pioneering creator in the video game industry.

Created by the Syndicat National du Jeu Vidéo, the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Jeu Vidéo brings together more than a thousand academics, divided into five professional colleges and one honorary college. Its aim is to showcase the creations and talents of the video game industry in France. It brings together professionals from the industry to discuss the major issues facing the profession, while highlighting their work. Every year, the Pégases ceremony awards trophies of the same name in the designated categories.
The Institut français aims to encourage the international dissemination of French digital creation (digital art, immersive experience, video games, innovative books, cultural outreach and education, web creation, sound creation).
