IFprofs - the platform for professionals teaching French abroad
French language
IFprofs is a collaborative platform dedicated to teachers of French as a foreign language (FLE) or those who teach other subjects in French (non-linguistic disciplines) and, more generally, to professionals in French-language education: trainers, educational managers, future teachers, inspectors, teachers' associations, agents in charge of educational and linguistic cooperation, etc.
The platform is structured around three main sections: Resources – Training – Communities.
IFprofs is also a tool for educational and linguistic cooperation.
It supports initiatives aimed at improving the quality of French language teaching and learning by offering free educational resources and online training modules, thereby addressing a key challenge for the network: French Institutes and Alliances Françaises, public and private institutions, universities, and teacher training institutes.
It provides features that enable teachers to engage and unite communities at the local or national level:
- creation of open or closed groups for networks of institutions, teaching levels or disciplines, specific projects, etc.
- organization of webinars using the internal videoconferencing tool;
- privileged publication to communicate about its actions, its educational and cultural offerings, its scholarship programs, certifications, etc.
