MIRA - Mobilité à l'International de Recherche Artistique, supports artists in their international research endeavors.

MIRA is open to French artists, or foreign artists residing in France for more than 5 years, in solo or duo, who wish to carry out and/or deepen a research project in one or more countries for a minimum period of one month.

The selection commission was held on March 21, 2025 at the Institut français.

The call for applications, opened on January 23 with a numerus clausus of 40 applications, closed on February 14, 2025.

The commission selected 6 writing projects whose authors, winners, will carry out their mobilities, lasting one month, between June and December 2025.

Mobility from January to August 2026

The selection committee met on 14 October 2025 at the Directorate-General for Artistic Creation of the Ministry of Culture.

The call for applications opened on 11 July with a numerus clausus of 40 applications, which was reached in August 2025.

The committee selected 10 research projects, whose winning artisans will carry out their one-month mobility programmes between January and August 2026.
