Safir is a support program for players committed to building fairer, more inclusive and more sustainable societies in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine.

This project is based on the conviction that the answers to the greatest challenges facing our societies lie in the mobilization of young people, who must be supported in implementing concrete, sustainable initiatives. To this end, Safir is mobilizing a regional network of structures that are agents of change and young people committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the development of social impact projects.

The "Safir - Ambassadors for the Mediterranean" project, heir to the European Safir project, is being implemented by the Institut français in partnership with the French cultural network abroad, Lab'ess and ANND. It builds on the achievements of the European Safir project, conducted from 2020 to 2024, which led to the emergence of an active regional network that now needs to be consolidated.

For 2 years, this Safir community will benefit from a number of activities to network, build skills and promote its actions in favor of achieving sustainable development goals.
