Des mots à la scène
From 31 July 2024 to 1 September 2024
Foreign professionals
The Des Mots à la Scène program is an initiative designed to support and promote contemporary French-language playwriting. This production fund aims to bring to light authors and works that are often overlooked or rarely performed, by facilitating the creation of new stagings.
The Des Mots à la Scène initiative has several key objectives:
1. Promote emerging authors: The fund focuses on authors whose works have not yet found a wide audience, enabling the discovery of new voices and perspectives in the French-language dramatic field.
2. Stimulate creation and production: By providing financial and logistical support, the fund encourages the staging of new plays, thus contributing to the enrichment of the French-language theatrical repertoire.
3. Strengthening cultural diversity: The program aims to reflect the diversity of the French-speaking world by supporting projects from different regions and communities, including those in Africa, the French overseas territories and the French-speaking diaspora in France.
